Our licences
Databridge holds both individual licences issued by the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa. Individual licences are national: they are not limited to a province, a municipality or a named site.
I-ECNS
The licence to build, own and operate the network itself — the infrastructure that carries the traffic.
I-ECS
The licence to provide communications services to customers over that network, including voice and data.
Both licences are issued and administered by the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa — icasa.org.za
National coverage
Both licences apply across the whole of South Africa — all nine provinces, without geographic restriction.
